Spotted at a local mill, I was instantly inspired by this oak board.
Probably the 2nd board cut from the log, this piece features stunning character with beautiful grain and a de-barked live edge to the underside along it's full length.
The live edge has been sealed with resin for stability and longevity, with the whole board being treated with clear Rubio Monocoat finishing oil.
There are screw mounted rubber feet to the underside to provide a softer placement and give the runner approximately 10mm of stand-off from the table top it's placed on.
It will be a gorgeous centre stage to present your hard work in the kitchen to your guests, or perhaps to present grapes and cheeses for a more hands on buffet type affair.
